If you succeed in this course, you will feel accomplished beyond many things you may experience in your undergrad career. Five years down the road, you may forget the math, but the feeling of overcoming a difficult challenge will stick with you.
The topic that sticks out in my mind is working on problems involving vapor pressure. These problems can be wordy, but if you sort through the variables and plug the factors into the equations provided, you will get the answer you need.

Advice for students:
Read the book through. Practice active reading, and do not go on to the next topic until you have a through understanding of what you are working on. Get help from the teaching assistants, and it can be beneficial to occasionally study in a group.
