His lectures are clear, and as long as you work through the old exams, you will do fine on the test. He does a sliding scale, which also helps if you fumble on a test. The calculation portion of his exams are also effort based; you don't have to necessarily get it right or risk losing 10 points, he will give you points if you have the right formulas and clear thinking and layout, and unit cancellation. Use the office hours he provides and email him.
Well, I learned chemistry, obviously. Got a lot more solid on some areas high school didn't do well teaching me in.
