Edmonds is a good teacher, and calculus isn't nearly as hard as it sounds. This is business calculus, so be prepared for that coming in. It isn't that different from normal calculus though.
The class taught differentials of most functions including log functions, and most of the class built on this. Additionally, I was taught how these differential functions could be applied from a business standpoint to cost, profit, and revenue.

There are homework assignments broken up by sections, doing these as practice is important to get used to how to do the work. Learning the differentials and the rules is necessary to succeed, but if you can learn from homework and notes you'll do fine.
