    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely difficult, but it is required for all Computer Science majors and minors. I would definitely suggest taking it with Dr. Mailler if you get the chance (he cares about whether you learn the material or not). Don't hesitate to ask for help. You're going to need it, so might as well ask earlier rather than later.

    Course highlights:

Wow. I learned more in this course than I probably have in any class in my life. You are definitely thrown into the water and expected to swim (and not drown). You get an extremely accomplished feeling after completing the projects--if you finish them. The course material was very interesting, in my opinion, as well.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

ALWAYS start your projects early. Like the day he assigns them. Look it over, and set up a time to meet with him or the TA about any and all questions. Also, it really helps if you read through the chapter before you go over it in class.
