    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because I actually learned a lot from this class and the professor was fully engaged with her students while understanding that her class was not everyone's only class. The material was explained thoroughly, although the only reason why this course received a 4/5 stars is because the assignment due dates were a bit disorganized or too much homework was assigned at once. I difficult class, but you earn great skills for future classes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be that I learned how living things function and are made up from very small and numerous cells. I learned to appreciate all of nature and understand how viruses and diseases function.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be aware that this is a four credit class with lab. Think of this class as two classes in one because it is very time consuming. If an "A" is the grade you are wanting then aim at getting all points possible and be prepared to dedicate a lot of time to this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was so much fun! The professor made it even better. She has a true passion for the subject and brings her personal experience to the class. Always answered any question a student had asked.

    Course highlights:

I have a strong background in biology but I learned so much more than what I came into the class already knowing. As long as you reviewed the material and asked questions it was a very easy class to keep up with. The professor went beyond the textbook and applied real life scenarios to the subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study everyday! Make sure to ask questions when you're unsure of something. This class is not a walk in the park but as long as you focus and put in the time, you shouldn't have a problem. The professor is very understanding and realizes that students have a life outside of school.
