Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it enhances the students appreciation for the interactions between the common substances in our everyday environment.

    Course highlights:

Information gained from this course regarding reactions between substances is relevant to understanding how lifeforms can exist and what factors will negatively affect quality of life of organisms. Much of that understanding is more a philosophical exploration and application of the concepts learned than directly taught, but a little creative thinking regarding the application of these principles can be very entertaining and helpful.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course seriously and do the work. You have many things to gain beyond the direct knowledge contained within the parameters of the class. Such things include the ability to apply the concepts to your imagination.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Jackson is great. He only takes the top 10 quizzes, he drops 3 labs, and he gives a ton of extra credit. If you take in summer no mastering chemistry is required.

    Course highlights:

The principles of General Chemistry. Chem 1 was a struggle for me and Professor Jackson made it fun and easy to learn.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to lecture, do the extra credit, and do the sample tests!

He incorporates jokes about Star Wars and Big Bang Theory in his lectures and very easy going.

    Course highlights:

We did a lab where we played battleships with the periodic table.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:
