    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because it is required and it also gives you a feel of what the rest of your college papers should represent.

    Course highlights:

I gained the ability to thoroughly research and how to create my research into my own thinking.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything and take your time. Don't do anything halfway.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Most people are scared to take composition 1 because they think that it is going to be hard, but this professor made the course fun. I learned more in his class than in any other class that I have taken.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write and form an essay that wasn't the basic five paragraph essay format that everyone learns in high school. The professor let us be free with how we wanted to write and even sometimes what we wanted to write about while learning how to do it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, I would prepare to be going the extra mile to be successful in the class. His class is a great course but can be challenging.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Good, straightforward guidelines from the beginning.

    Course highlights:

Learning different writing styles (how to do things I was not familiar with).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the writing assignments; turn them in when due; ask questions.
