Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Patty is probably the best professor you could ever have. As complex biology can be, she makes it fun and teaches in a way that the material is easily understood. You do have to study but her way of explaining science helps us as the student to remember easily. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PROFESSOR.

    Course highlights:

DNA, CHROMOSOMES, CELL CYCLE. Understanding the DNA and Chromosomes what is recessive or dominant. Understanding an allele gene.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the homework. Dont put it off for the last minute. If you pay attention to lectures and take good lecture notes (btw she gives you a powerpoint each week to follow, you can print and take notes on that as she lectures)

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this class with this teacher. She easily gets her concepts mixed up and never corrects the mistake. She does use the powerpoints from the book, so you do not have to purchase the book unless you want to.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were the labs. I really enjoyed all the labs we had. They were fun and I was able to learn mush information from them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes is my advice to you. Also, refer to the powerpoint in blackboard a lot. It will definitely help out a ton.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Patty has been such a motivation to learn. Her teaching style and her knowlege of how students learn has been so impressive.

    Course highlights:

I learn better through research rather then cramming for a test and she is aware that cramming for a test does not hold all the information for future use. I was able to retain more information like biological concepts, living organisms and much more

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Always try to stay a day ahead of all assignments. Read the information given and pay attention during lectures because she tells you what will be in the weekly quiz.
