    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because this teacher is so passionate and brings what he is teaching to life. He makes sure you are leaning; he doesn't just present the information and leave it up to you to figure out. He truly cares about the material he presents and about each and every one of his students.

    Course highlights:

I learned the purpose of writing. He taught not only the material, but also the importance of it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class it is important to seek help, taking advantage of services such as the writing center. It is also important to put effort in all of your assignments and thoroughly review it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very peer interactive. If you are looking for a writing course without a huge homework load this is the course for you. The syllabus contains five essays, with the most difficult being a research argumentative with an annotated bibliography. The only downside is this is a low tech class, meaning no emails between instructor and student. Any correspondence on Blackboard is not present. All communication with instructor is done through personal phone calls or in person meetings.

    Course highlights:

I gained a template and technique for writing outlines and organizing essays. These skills learned will carry over and help you in other courses like comm111, wr122, or other courses with a heavy writing requirement.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise all who take this course to use the instructor's outline methods. The most important part of the course is the research paper. I think all research projects have a ceiling based upon topic selection. So make a wise choice of topic. One that has ample research available, is interesting , and does not have a hidden or difficult thesis. Keep it simple to communicate.
