    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Required course--good information that all teachers should know to protect themselves. I was very nervous about this course. I found the content to be challenging but not too difficult. However, I found the time commitment is what made it a tough course for me--lots of reading, quizzes and a weekly research paper each week in addition to 3 discussion.

    Course highlights:

We dug in depth to the laws around school districts on the state level and how they project amendment rights.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you are fully employed use your time on weekends wisely. Start the 5th week final assignment early in the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought it was a very insightful class on what is going on behind the teaching.

    Course highlights:

I learned the different rules and laws that govern the schools and their teachers. It was very insightful and very informative.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are doing the concentration in reading you must take it. It is very interesting but it is part of the Reading concentration.
