Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dericksen has amazing points of view that will help broaden your view of the Bible. The class is fast paced, but overall it is a big eye opener.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the lectures that helped break down the reading and learning something new every day.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be discouraged by the pace!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is one of the required Bible courses that all students must take. It is a quick skim over all of the books of the Bible.

    Course highlights:

I personally feel that the best part of this class was the professor. Dr. Derickson is simply one of the most intelligent human begins I've ever met, and his ego wasn't the size of a planet. You could literally ask him anything about the Bible (or Texas) and he would answer with an excited grin. His fiery Texas wit made a class, that would otherwise seem long and cumbersome, a very fun experience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course with Dr. Derickson! He's also one of the very few professors who do roll call before class so he's sure to remember your name and say hi when he sees you around campus. Also, don't skim the reading. It's important not just for your grade but for your walk with Jesus.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dericksen makes this class very interesting and delves into areas you may not have gone on your own.

    Course highlights:

For me, one of the highlights was that he didn't give in class quizzes. Over a set time frame, you took the quiz on your own, online. This included any tests and also the final.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This may be an easy class, but you need to take it seriously. It's just as important as any other harder class.
