    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend taking Bokema for physics 51 at SJSU because there are better professors out there. For tests, you must show your work the way he wants it. He is strict on diagrams and explainations are needed on why a certain equation was used. All his actions seem very unnecessary and reading the textbook is a must. In class, Bokema will only review what was on the chapter and you will not understand unless you've read. However, I heard it is possible to get an A in his class if you follow his procedures. He says he does not curve, but I believe he does something at the end of the semester to boost everyone's grades. Cool personality, but bad teacher. Take at your own risk, but out of the 3 phys 52 classes, he teaches 2 of them and the other professor is supposedly worse. So you will most likeliy have him again for Phys 52 too.

    Course highlights:

Learned how to draw large diagrams and how to self study.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Draw large diagrams! Follow how he wants the questions to be done. Explain every little thing.
