Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because although the professor is strict, it teaches you to not slack off specially in your first year in college because as time goes on the majority of classes only get harder.

    Course highlights:

I learned about topics such as overfishing and the situation with North Korea. These were very relevant topics and that made the class more interesting. In addition, I improved my writing skills as we reviewed grammar and organizational techniques.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading is important. It will allow you to engage in class discussions and therefore help you when you take exams/quizzes. If you have trouble with writing seek help at the writing center early on.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Megan Alfaro is a great professor, she always wants to help you get better at writing. The way she teaches the class is amazing. I came out of her class knowing things I did not know before. This class will diffinetly help you for the rest of your college experience.

    Course highlights:

From this course I learned how to use the university's resources to the fullest. I also got a better understanding of what to do and not do when writing an essay.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to keep up with your work. Although it is an easy course the work load my sneak up on you at the last second. The work she gives is easy but time consuming. Get your work done on time and early if you can. That will do wonders.
