    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He provided his students an alternative source which is the reader book that we need to buy from the bookstore, it is only $8. I found that this reader is very useful and helpful to me. For each chapter, it will briefly introduce the chapter concepts and the learning objective. Then, there will be a sample problem of a certain department that will show us step by step of the concepts. After this, there are two similar problems, we are required to do these two problems. First one , he will solve the problem with the class to help us stand-up of the concepts. Second, we need to solve it by ourselves and go over the problems. There are also practice problems that are available for students to do to truly understand the concepts.

    Course highlights:

I learned that the difference between each department. when the company first start operating, there are required to estimated their manufacturing cost. Knowing the indirect cost and direct cost, the difference between the traditional income statement and contribution income statement. Many other concepts such absorption costing and variable costing, product cost and period cost.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, students need to spend some time on practice problems. Memorize the formula is easy, but it only helps you to solve current problems in class-work and home-work. Truly understand the formula requires a decent amount of time to analysis. That will definitely help to succeed in the class.
