Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

During this course I learned a lot about the adolescence of child development, from when a child is just born to the stages of them growing up. For this course we were also required to do Service Learning hours, working with children at different sites and writing an eight to ten page paper about what we learned during those hours working with children. I feel like I learned a lot more about the material we learned in class while working with the children at my Service Learning site. I was able to connect the information from class to what I seen at the daycare center I was working at. Overall it was a great experience.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned the concepts of Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, the teen years of the child and the behavior. I also learned about the development of the brain and body parts of the child and how much they change within time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should use flashcards to memorize the material being taught and also review their notes, the notes taken in class are the main highlights of what will most likely be on the midterms or final.
