    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend taking his class as his midterm was super difficult. 120 questions of T/F and MC and 6 short essay questions in 75 minutes is not that easy of a feat.

    Course highlights:

Lots and lots of history, mostly about the indigenous people.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all the chapters and try to take good notes during lectures.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course, because the professor is great at explaining the topics he covers in class. He tries to tie in what we are talking about in class to what is going on in the world at the time. Every day you will be expected to write your notes and read the weekly readings. Only one term paper for the class! That to me would be enough to take this four unit course!

    Course highlights:

It is four units, but it is not a hard course. All you need to pass is to regularly show up to class, take notes, and participate. The topics are very interesting and he explains them in ways we can relate to. Highlights of this course were the off-topic tangents and learning more about the history of Mexican-Americans.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please do not miss class and if you do, make sure you have a study buddy to get the notes from!
