Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an introductory class for materials engineering. The course gives a fairly good idea about the science of dealing with materials, their properties, their atomic structures and their applications.

    Course highlights:

The lab work was the highlight. Stress tests, strength and elasticity tests using the heavy machinery was something I looked forward to every week.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't dive into the text book as soon as you start the course. Stick to the class notes and powerpoint slides initially and then slowly shift to the textbook.
