    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a challenge but if you pay attention and do the work it is rewarding and satisfying.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I am not hopeless when it comes to chemistry and I loved that in chemistry there's a lot of math.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend taking the summer prep course, it helped a lot. I also recommend signing up for workshops because you get to work on practice problems in a smaller class setting.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for students who need to take it for their degree. This class can be hard, but there are plenty of tutoring and helpful opportunities that help students get good grades.

    Course highlights:

I learned the essentials of Chemistry. More specifically, I learned about analytical chemistry, biochemistry and a little of organic chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are having trouble with the course, there are plenty of tutoring opportunities. There are tutors from COSAC, workshops that help you with their own worksheets, quizzes that the teacher hands out to test your skills and private tutors you can pay for.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Its more of a requirement class. You usually take this class if you're pursuing a science or engineering career.

    Course highlights:

In this class, you learn about the foundation of Chemistry ( Reactions, Stoichiometry, gases, etc.)

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention to lecture and make sure you either go to office hours. This class will speed away from you even if you are just a bit off track.
