    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course if you are truly interested in the human body and/or are going into nursing or another health related field otherwise this class will be very difficult.

    Course highlights:

Working with the cadavers was my favorite because you got to see all the muscles and bones for what they really are. I learned a lot from this.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study each section religiously, don't let yourself fall behind. Also go to EVERY open lab, you will not likely succeed if you don't go to these.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For people interested in the human body, this course is a must -especially those interested in entering the medical field. This course helped me realize what aspects of the human body I was and was not interested in.

    Course highlights:

A more thorough understanding of how structure relates to function and what comprises the human organism. I also learned that there is ALWAYS more to learn about the human body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the professors seriously when they say you need to study hard -especially if you have no prior knowledge of the material. This class is memorization heavy, unfortunately, so some students struggled simply because they did not put enough time into learning the material.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very interesting and intriguing. It made me think about the human body very differently than before. It is a lot of work and it is challenging, but any anatomy class will be that way. Also, Debbi is one of the best professors I've ever had, she tells you exactly what is expected of you during the course and keeps on reminding you of little things to help you succeed.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the bones and muscles of the body and how where they are anatomically can tell you what movement they cause.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This is not an easy course, but it is very interesting and getting a good grade is possible. The key is to put time each week into it and don't let the work pile up.
