    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great introduction to the basics of management, and also delves into various learning styles and serves as a segue into online learning in general.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was its introspective focus. Before really delving into the meat of the program that comes in later courses, BM 301 helps you know yourself and your own strengths and weaknesses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep your participation up; you can get a huge grade boost just by posting a lot in the discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a great first course that I took at Marylhurst. I hadn't been to school in several years and this course created a very non-intimidating environment that made going back to school feel a lot more accomplishable.

    Course highlights:

Management styles and how to work with others that have a different style than you do.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to order your materials early so you have them before class starts. The course goes by very fast and there won't be a lot of opportunities to catch up.
