Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is great for any college student who is interested in making their writing stronger and better through the use of research and well-developed logic. Expect to work hard but also be ready to see results in the form of more concise, precise and effective writing.

    Course highlights:

Prof. Carroll was a pleasure to work with and always was willing to work with students to make their writing better while also encouraging personal writing styles. The course was also very streamlined in that there were only two major essays, but these essays were well developed and over time became some of the best writing I have ever done.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be willing to think about what you're writing, as logic will play a key role in succeeding in this class. Strong writers are also strong thinkers and have developed and powerful ability to follow reason. Growth is the key to success in this class, so don't be afraid to try new techniques and styles.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students who are willing to further their knowledge on successfully writing reasoned research papers. The course load can be heavy, but in the end, furthering your development as an efficient reason through research writer is worth it and can greatly strengthen your writing skills.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course, probably the aspect we spent the most of our focus on was developing a sufficient research question and thesis Which is extremely important to a research paper because the entire essay will revolve around your developed question and thesis. A highlight from the course is that on the essays you submit, the teacher puts in a lot of effort to provide you with extremely helpful feedback you can use during your revision essays

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you put in reasonable effort and submit your essays and other assignments in on time, you grade will turn out fine, however it is important to note that when I entered this class, I was told by the professor that it can be extremely difficult for students to get an A. Just keep in mind that your grade will most likely be around a B.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Absolutely! This course transformed my writing when I thought I was stuck at my previous level.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course are the low-risk homework assignments, in-class workshops and peer reviews, and the freedom we had.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest being thoughtful and putting a considerable amount of time into each assignment. While challenging, if done with your best effort, they have the power to really improve your writing and logic.
