    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking Sarah's class on Looking at Dance. She is an expertise in her field and I have loved every single lecture class we have had so far. Sarah does a great job at keeping the class engaged during lectures as well as during discussions.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course include the discussions once a week where we learn a dance that we have studied in our textbook. Even if you are not a dancer, Sarah is great a pushing students out of their comfort zone in order to have fun, but also learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The readings in the textbook are not optional. I would highly recommend completing all readings because Sarah's quizzes are based off the readings assigned. I would also recommend taking the quizzes with classmates in order to have multiple people help out.

The professor is so sweet and accepting of all her students. Her bubbly personality makes class really enjoyable!

    Course highlights:

We learned about different forms of dance in the classroom, then actually got to try them out in the dance studio. Not only learning from texts and videos, but actually getting up and moving made learning more enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class and you won't have to too much effort in outside of class.
