    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is required for Cinema Studies majors and is incredibly easy. Professor Ovalle shows very interesting films and gives thorough history of the making of them. It is an easy A and not terribly boring either.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are watching some very old but incredibly well made films such as "Citizen Kane" and "Roshomon." I learned a great deal about the development of sound in the motion picture industry and the struggles that came along with it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Going to class is important as she checks attendance by giving mini clicker quizzes. I would also recommend doing the readings and reviewing the films briefly again before the midterm and the final exam.
