    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Though chemistry is a difficult subject it is extremely rewarding to learn. There are lots of real world applications and job opportunities.

    Course highlights:

I loved the in class demos. We got to see a lot of cool chemical reactions live.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study chemistry everyday. Even if you don't have an assignment read the textbook or even work ahead. If you don't it's easy to forget what you learned and start to fall behind. I had chemistry at 10am so I would wake up and read through my notes before going to class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Personally I find chemistry hard in the first place, but I find it even more difficult when I have to take it with 500 other students in a huge lecture hall. I think they try to cram too much information in too short of a term, when they curve the grade, average comes out to be about a 60%, which I think is just ridiculous.

    Course highlights:

I liked the lab a lot. Although it was pretty difficult, it seemed to help me with what we were learning in lecture.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to be in a study group and help each other out a lot because it gets tricky.
