    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is extremely enlightening and fundamental to the concepts of molecular biology. Any and all biology students should take this course to have a basic understanding of bacterial genetics and a beginning understanding of eukaryotic genetics. Alan Kelly does a fantastic job of teaching this course. He is helpful and caring of his students. He expects a lot from his students.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches you a lot about the basics of molecular biology. It is very biochemistry focused and will prepare students excellently for further biochemistry courses. The course also focuses on different types of genetics in bacteria and eukarya.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course requires a lot of effort. There is homework but it is not required to do or turn in. However, I would highly recommend that this homework is completed due to the fact that the professor frequently pulls material from the assignments.
