The course is extremely enlightening and fundamental to the concepts of molecular biology. Any and all biology students should take this course to have a basic understanding of bacterial genetics and a beginning understanding of eukaryotic genetics. Advice for students:
This course requires a lot of effort. There is homework but it is not required to do or turn in. However, I would highly recommend that this homework is completed due to the fact that the professor frequently pulls material from the assignments.
