Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

ECON 202 taught by Professor Jean Falconer is a great class. She does seem to go a little bit too quickly at times and some students are left behind. If you can take notes quickly though, she is a magnificent teacher that explains everything very well.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of information for putting my knowledge of economics into the large scale and how to use the knowledge to solve real day-to-day problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have your laptop AND notebook out. I love to take notes on my computer, but drawing graphs in my notes seems nearly impossible. I always had my laptop and notebook side-by-side and I really think this helped me.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would totally recommend this course. Mike is an amazing teacher. He's great at explaining and it incredibly organized. Best professor I have had.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about unemployment. In particular the loanable funds market was a very interesting unit for me because I knew next to nothing about it before this.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your book! Take the quizzes seriously. His office hours are what helped me the most so definitely use them.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was taught extremely well by one of the best professors at the university. Urbancic made topics that would otherwise seem boring fun.

    Course highlights:

This course was actually really interesting because it's the first look you get at how an economy functions on a larger, macroeconomic level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this course, I would recommend just paying attention in class. Urbancic explains things very well so as long as you're listening.
