    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Focusing on how media and society correlate so strongly in todays society removes the curtain of ignorance and how things you see on the media is just surface level to what it entails.

    Course highlights:

Professor Alilunas pours his heart and soul into what he does and it is shown through this class. I have never been bored in lecture and am always engaged. This class has opened my eyes to the multitude of different cultures and how their media effects their own society. Just within the past decade and how social media has put everyone in this little bubble and the discourse of society has molded into something that fits the new norm. Hegemony within society coinciding with the idea of "the way it is" has forced myself as a student to question everything and always dig deeper that what is being exposed.

    Advice for students:

    Stay engaged and stay passionate.
