Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although it is a required course for all Freshman, this is an excellently taught course that helped me learn more about successful writing. I will be using the tools I learned in this course often throughout my future.

    Course highlights:

I learned many previously unexplored techniques for successful writing and note taking as well as the ability to insert these techniques into papers I need to write in my other classes. I will also be able to use these techniques to help the children I will teach in the future to be successful writers.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to attend every class, participate in available discussion groups, and take the time to read and research the techniques for more thorough and knowledgeable essay writing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you work on essays and get a lot of help t learning new editing skills. Also we do not have to read a book to write about. I would also recommend this class because it is small, the professor will be able to know your name.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is that I got a lot of help from my teacher and other students who are taking the class with me. I learned the right way to write a works cited page.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My advise I would say is have a computer with word documents on it because that's what we use to write and submit out essays on canvas. Always be ready to participate in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

WR121 with Professor Daniel Buck changed my life. In college, students are seeking the opportunity to grow as individuals. My English Composition 1 class expanded my knowledge in not only how I write, but how I think and speak to others in my day to day life. I became equipped with literary tools that's allowed others to perceive me as a much more strong minded individual with compelling ideas. I was only capable of receiving these gratifying traits by incorporating my new knowledge in my personal life. I began to alter the way I argued my opinion, stated my ideas, and persuade others with my point of view. All of which was only done through taking my WR121 course with my passionate instructor, Daniel Buck.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of my WR121 class included an infinite potential to engage myself through literary devices. I am now confident in my abilities to impact the world by using my knowledge of writing and skills. I am aware of how to convey my arguments in a manner that keeps readers intrigued while persuading them with my overall stance on a particular subject. I am able to change the world now. I learned how to respectfully voice my opinion in a sophisticated way that reflects my individual voice in society. The highlights of this course are exponential due to the effects I can make on this world. I feel I have all the power in my words and mind.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Believe in yourself. Be yourself. Don't hesitate to voice your opinion. The content of this course allows students to embellish in their strengths and uncover the weakness to create a higher potential. The impact of this course is exponential only if you submit to learning a new way of crafting your thoughts onto paper.
