    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is required for Business Majors and minors, however, this professor proved to be slightly difficult to learn from. If you get this professor or take this course, be sure to learn material ahead of the lectures.

    Course highlights:

It helped me learn materials independently and develop great study habits.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study for as long as you can. This class is the hardest I've taken at the UO so far.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very applicable for all facets of life. I encourage all majors to take this to gag a basic understanding on how accounting works.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to read an income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. All of these are very applicable in a lot of variety of business and investing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes, and go to the office hours. It's ok if you do not understand everything. It is essentially a different language that you are learning, so do not be afraid to ask for help.
