    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was an introductory music class, that was overly complicated and instead of making me passionate for the arts and the beauty of music, it really did almost the opposite. I wasn't aware of a lot of music terms and notes, and since it was a 100 level class I didn't think it would be needed. However, the teacher assumed that everyone has a masters in music education and treated the class as such.

    Course highlights:

I think that the online quizzes could be open note as they were given online, so it was easy to get a good grade on that section of the class, which is a majority of the points.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard on the online assignments because that could make or break your grade. Also take notes on the lecture, as the questions will be same as on test. Counts as an arts and letters and easy to get a good grade if you try.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This professor is not only wonderful, but he pours passion in to whatever he is teaching. He leads wonderful lectures and has great character. I would highly recommend him as a professor and that you take a class from him at some point in your collegiate career.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the history of music and some of the main components that go in to composing music.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the work and show up to class. Brian tries to make it fun and interesting and that was all he asked. It was a fun class so there was no need to skip class or slack off with the projects.
