    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would HIGHLY recommend this class to anyone who is looking to study in the field of the Media Professions and also because it is a very modern, up to date class that includes social media into the class and it helps to make the class much more interesting.

The highlights were the social media integration, the ted talk-like guest speakers from week to week, and how interesting the professor made the class for anyone who was still debating whether or not you wanted to pursue a job in the media or communication field.

    Advice for students:

Always check canvas for updates to the discussions and to do the digital research for the guest speakers.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly reccomend this course to anyone interested in the Journalism, Public relations or advertising field. This class helped me a lot by presenting different highly educated and successful people within al of these fields. Each speaker we had opened up to our class about their work, what they do specifically, how they attained their goals, and the important information within their field. I learned more about myself and my career path and achieved a clearer mind set for what I want to accomplish.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight of this course was the overall atmosphere. Jasheway is a terrific professor who really lightens up the entire room and provides us with great advice. She also incorporates twitter into our daily class to inform us on the importance of social media in our careers. She also gets excellent speakers to come into our class and always gives off a positive energy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students who are thinking about this course to be open minded and goal oriented. This class has a lot of different people and opinions coming through so its always good to listen and think about what future career goals you have in mind.
