    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course, in general, moves pretty quickly but the labs are extremely helpful. In the labs you get to meet people and work through problems together which I thought was really helpful. And if you get stuck your GE/GTF can come and explain things to you. Lectures went over a lot of example problems. The tests were pretty difficult just because of how much basic things you need to have an understanding of.

    Course highlights:

The physics demonstrations were some of the best things. But sometimes people taking the class would get upset when something didn't work or took longer than they expected. Science is not flawless. You learn a lot about forces.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

There are some courses you can take where reading the text book is not necessary; this is not one of them. Do the readings and example problems. Find a study buddy because you will want one. Also Kahn academy is a great free resource that goes over physics problems and explains them in detail.
