This class was tough.
Chris Coffin is a great teacher. If you go into his office hours with questions, he will make sure you leave answers and understanding. However, his tests are really difficult and hard to pass. You'll need to understand the physics well conceptually and mathematically to get a passing grade.
Do all the prep problems and keep up with when he assigns them. Falling behind will lead to the snowball effect and before you know it it's the day before the exam and you've done 3 of 50 hard prep problems. Completing prep problems helps a lot when figuring how to get started on the exam problems. You'll have a better idea of which equations to use and what to solve for.

Advice for students:
Actually go to class and listen because he explains physics really well. Go into office hours with questions and don't be afraid if it takes you more than a few questions to actually comprehend the material. Do the prep problems when he assigns them.
