Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class focuses on prevention, recognition, and treatment of physically active injuries. Although it focuses on the physically active, it is not limited to only that and also reviews strokes, hypothermia, and concussions. All of which may happen at any time, not just sports. It is good to learn the material in case you find yourself in an emergency situation.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to recognize different injuries. I was taught how to splint a fractured arm, treat someone for hypothermia, or watch for signs and symptoms of a stroke victim.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't just go through the motions. Learn the material. It could benefit you someday if a family member or close friend has a medical emergency.
