Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's an introductory course, but if you have the chance you should definitely take it with Blaustein. He is the first professor in the Biology department that I felt that I was learning something from while still enjoying myself.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about animal diversity and a ton about amphibian decline since that was what the proffessor was researching.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, make notecards, look at the learning objectives, and study for the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if you are a biology major because it is required.

    Course highlights:

I didn't really learn a lot in the class but what I did learn was about animal diversity and the highlight was when Dr. Blaustein came in to teach the second half of the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do well on the reading quizzes, go to class, and study hard for the exams. There are a lot of trick questions on the exams if you don't have Dr. Blaustein so read everything carefully.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a very interesting class

    Course highlights:

The high light of this course was the lab that went along with the lecture class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To do all the extra credit opportunities given. Also to read the book.
