    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you wish to complete a bachelor's degree in science at Oregon State University.

    Course highlights:

This course goes in depth on dimensional analysis, the periodic table and elements, conversations, molarity, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, and other subjects related to general chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book and keep up with the course work. Take advantage of professor office hours and TA assistance. Further, take notes on each chapter and study regularly. Do not skip class, it is very important.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I can't say chemistry is easy, but Prof. Barth is the best, she'll make sure you understand, I enjoyed taking the 1st to chemistries of the series with her 121 & 122.

    Course highlights:

By the time you are done, you will have learned chemistry, whether you like it or not. My favorite chapters were electromagnetism and the periodic table. The fact that I took the 3 chemistries online, made it more difficult, but the help I received from Prof. Barth, TA's, Prof. Nafshun, Prof. Weiss, and even other students, made it all worth it and easier to bare.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Go for it, excellent instructors, and an even better course setup. (I took it online)
