Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

One, this is a required course for every incoming freshman as everyone takes general chemistry. Two, it is not as hard as everyone thinks.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you should keep up with lecture notes and study outside of the class in order to comprehend the material fully.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study the past tests and keep on top of assignments, they take a while to finish if you don't understand it. Also, keep practicing the concepts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Important course for medically/chemically inclined students. It gives a better understanding of how different factors work together to affect things like gas pressures and energy. I learned a lot of interesting things in this course.

    Course highlights:

Practical applications of things we learned were demonstrated in in-class experiments. It was really interesting to see the things we were looking at in theory be displayed in real life. I learned a lot about intermolecular forces, gas laws, and acid/base laws, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to keep up on the homework, and make sure you understand the theories behind the equations. Make use of practice quizzes and office hours/study sessions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a great lecture. The professor is enthusiastic about the material and easy to interact with.

    Course highlights:

The professor's enthusiasm helped keep the course interesting. The class was basic chemistry, stuff most students go through in high school but taking this course and reviewing everything with more depth definitely helped me understand the subject.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask for help, go to study groups, do your homework on time and try not to procrastinate too hard.
