    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chris is a good teacher and is more than willing to help students during his office ours. He enjoys teaching and will give you a good laugh. For students going into engineering, he gets the information out there quickly and effectively. I remember the things he teaches in the class and would recommend it to other students who are considering taking it.

    Course highlights:

I learned the different shapes of atoms, memorization of ions, and how to balance chemical equations. We also get to see how these things can be applied to careers that students might be going into after graduation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the last minute to start the online homework. The problems are pretty easy but they do take some time to complete.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I had the 8:00 am class, but the teacher managed to hold my attention for the most part.

    Course highlights:

This was mostly a basic chemistry overview. I knew a lot of the information already but the class was required.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make flash cards, just as he suggests. Use the office hours. Graphing calculators are your friends.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Knutson is a fantastic lecturer, and there are no surprises on the tests.

    Course highlights:

The highlight would certainly be the time the Knutson tried to demonstrate that adding oxygen to hydrogen would result in a larger explosion, but instead he caused the hydrogen to not ignite at all. We learned that he was a nitrogen breathing lizard man that day (we actually learned that the oxygenated hydrogen has a faster combustion rate, resulting in a quicker, sharper bang).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework early. Some weeks will take many more hours than you expect.
