I would recommend it because it is extremely valuable information and really helps students get a handle on business processes surrounding information, good IS security controls, and SQL which is very useful for anyone working with data

Advice for students:
Make sure you understand lecture content. If you don't, then study more, ask questions, etc. Choose your group members carefully as the group project is a big part of the course, but tests are weighted heavily so you can make up for a few mediocre group grades if needed.
