    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you don't have to take vector calculus don't. It takes a lot of effort to understand because you will be working in three dimensions. If you do have to take it try to get anyone but Tat out of the two who were teaching it he was the worst at it.

    Course highlights:

You will be studying for the first section vectors and their behaviors. Covering topics such as dot product and cross product. After that you will be working with oblong plane, such as paraboloids, and finding critical points and directional derivatives. Finally you will cover integrals between two planes. And triple integral that are between set points.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to think of all the subjects geometrically, and base your math off of that. If your lost on anything remember to draw a picture and that gradient vectors are always orthogonal to level curves.
