    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Kathy is a great professor, and really makes sure her students have all the materials and support needed to grasp the concepts.

    Course highlights:

Subjects studied: Matter, Energy & Measurement; Atoms; Chemical Bonds; Chemical Reactions; Gases, Liquids & Solids

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure you have adequate time to devote to this online-only course. If you work and go to school, I highly recommend taking this course by itself without any other classes that term. The workload is heavy, I spent approx 30 hours a week on this course to get an A.

    Course Overview:

Absolutely recommend this course and teacher for someone with or without chemistry background. She makes it really interesting.

    Course highlights:

Didn't make us memorize the whole periodic table and did really exciting experiments.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework before you go to class if you understand it, it makes class learning not as confusing if you've already seen the material.
