    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because, it teaches you more than basic facts; it teaches you how to care for yourself, both physically and mentally. Cristi makes the class a lot of fun, and she takes a realistic approach to caring for yourself and making changes in your life. I loved when she talked about smoking and those addicted to nicotine, she didn't try and guilt them into quitting; instead, she understood that smoking is hard to quit and that while they should quit, it is not as easy as it seems.

    Course highlights:

She had assignments where you watch a video and answer questions in response to the video, and I watched a TEDTalk called 'Eat to Starve Cancer'. It was interesting to find out the a lot of the foods we eat prevent cancer. Not just having a healthy body, but using anti-angiogenic properties to prevent the cancerous cells from getting food they would need to grow.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Some topics have a lot of vocabulary, make sure to learn the vocabulary words; they will be on the tests.
