Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Fitzgibbon is extremely through and promotes group work. Not only did we get to write many interesting pieces, but we also read books and had interesting, thought provoking discussions.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course was the research paper. I learned so much more than just basic writing conventions; I learned about a subject that interested me. For my paper, I wrote about modeling regulations in France!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to start your research paper sooner than later! It's really is a big project and it's worth a large chunk of your grade. Also, choose something that excites you! You will learn so much about the topic, its best if you genuinely want to know more.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Zapoura did a great job of using real life to inspire writing rather than dry assignments. As someone who doesn't consider writing to be my strong suit this greatly helped me stay involved. I would highly recommend this course and instructor.

    Course highlights:

Community service is a requirement for this course. It gets you to encounter multiple stories and directly help the community in which you live.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be able to get your work done without constant oversight. The instructor will not be holding your hand and if you don't accomplish what you need to you will be in a world of trouble at the end of the term.
