Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This teacher is very straight forward and open minded. She sets expectations and either you meet them or you dont.

    Course highlights:

I loved this course. Even though it was a reading class it also had a lot to do with history. I learned more about Portland's history and Vanport. I never learned about this in school which is shocking since learning about it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually do the readings. If you do this, you will get a A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's so easy to learn an art from someone who loves what they do. Mrs. Kinsella is so open, helpful, and passionate and books.

    Course highlights:

Every week, I looked forward to Mrs. Kinsella's notes back on my assignments. She taught me to expand on my takeaways and the proper way to relay my thoughts onto paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A quiet study space goes far. Be patient and thoughtful in your studies - it is well worth it!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course so you can get in the habit of being expected to do a lot of homework that is required during college. Kinsella is great at giving instructions, as well as being stern on the way that she grades her work and what she will or will not accept in her class.

    Course highlights:

I personally enjoyed all of the reading we were forced to do. The books that Kinsella had us read had a lot of commentary on American society and I learned the pros and cons that go on in America through fictional text.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly recommend planning out which assignment you are going to do on which day and how long you intend on working on it. Kinsella does NOT give out work that can be done in a rush, so you will need to take the time to just sit down and study.
