Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Math and me have always been at odds. I would always struggle in school until I got to college, and had to confidence to tackle math and ask for help when I needed it, throughout Math 20 to math 60 I had the fortune of having Edwards as my teacher, and boy, what a difference. The key to understanding math is translating the language of math into student language. And this teacher hits the nail on the head. SOme subjects in class were a bit hard after all it is Intro Algebra, with equations, and ratios, and fractions, and formulas, and simplyfying and all that stuff, but Edwards takes the time to go over everything and show each step, but is not boring, he keeps up with the pace of class, and even throws in a bit of humor once in a while to keep us on our toes.

    Course highlights:

Intro Algebra : Fractions, proportins, ratios, variables, equations and inequalities, some geometry, graphing and more inequalities and variables.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Since math is a tough subject for me, I dedicated more time to it. After class I would review my notes. Then once more just before homework During homework I would have my notes and book out to refer to it. Set a timer, and stick to it, then take 10 min breaks. Schedule out about 2 hours a night or every other day according to your workload to really study .Finally, don't be afraid to ask for help, either from your teacher or tutor.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it was an overall easy to follow course. The instructions are clear and the instructor is always there to answer any and all questions. You may be in a online course, but participation is necessary and is very helpful; it makes you feel like you are in a classroom.

    Course highlights:

I was never good at math and failed quite a few times during my high school years. Being able to study at my own pace and have the clear instructions needed for such a class was amazing and set me up for success.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important thing in this course is participation gin the course discussions as well as asking any and all questions you may have. The instructors and classmates are always very helpful.
