Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you enjoy solving probability

    Course highlights:

I learned how to solve the probability in population, proportion, etc. and how to find test statistics for each probability and how to prove it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend each class and write down notes. Also do your homework, it helps you memorize the steps you have to do to completed one problem.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor is very particular with what she wants out of all assignments no matter big or small. Her course is a hybrid course as well so I wouldn't suggest taking her course unless you are a perfectionist.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge about what kind of classes I wanted to take. Taking a hybrid class made me realize they weren't for me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to pay attention to the little details and directions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Andy was an amazing professor. While he did seem annoying with the first couple class sessions, I definitely was appreciative of him. He tends to repeat himself a lot and does not respond to emails or remember what you asked him for. However, he is an amazing professor and I definitely learned a lot from him. He repeats his lectures constantly but it definitely helps for those students who are not quick learners. Stat 243 is a pre requisite for this class. If you did not do well or do not remember concepts from this class, Andy should be your go to professor. However, if you are comfortable with the concept from 243, DO NOT TAKE ANDY!!

    Course highlights:

I gained so much from this course! I loved the computer skills taught all semester and I was very happy with my final grade. I learned about regression and hypothesis tests. I also learned how to form these through spss, which is a computer program that is used. I definitely think this course would be helpful for all majors that have any involvement with data analysis.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the labs early because most computer labs on campus that offer the program close very early. If you try to finish the labs the night before, the computers will be shut down and you will be unable to complete them. Also, make sure you do the "assigned problems". Although you do not turn them in, they are extremely helpful for quizzes and exams.
