Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I recommend this course because it is a good review of basic grammatical concepts from the previous year while at the same time not a slow or easy class, especially for beginners. This course is taught in complete Spanish which I very much appreciated because it is great practice for understanding the language. But like I said, this is mainly a grammar review course so if you have a strong grasp on the material taught in first year Spanish, then you may not need to take this course.
This course focuses on advanced reading and vocabulary as well as writing skills. The new material I learned was Spanish history and geography which is taught in the textbook and through writing assignments. The main things I took away from this course was a stronger foundation for not-so-basic grammar as well as a better understanding of Spanish listening skills.

Advice for students:
If you are considering taking this this course and are (like I was) assuming that you can get by easily without studying like you did in the previous course, you are sadly mistaken. This course can easily catch you off guard with how simple it is in the beginning, but it gets more difficult with more material to learn, assignments and projects to do.
