    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class offers excellent information about the foundation of what society considers a family vs. personal definitions of a family. The course also outlines how to build communication scaffolding between members of any given definition of family. These communication theories are applicable in many contexts of life.

    Course highlights:

I learned about healthy emotions, fair communication guidelines, where to seek help when crisis ensues, and how to find resources to improve my communication with my loved ones.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the course materials and text! . Dr. Bagley is an excellent lecturer and if you are familiar with the reading prior to the lecture you will be prepared for your coursework and examinations.
