Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Every student regardless of major should take this course. It encourages and teaches students of different backgrounds to have a respect of cultures all over the world. This course made me think more considerately of others.

    Course highlights:

Leave preconceived ideas of culture and/or anthropology at the door. Listen with an open mind and don't jump to conclusions. Question whether your reaction, while learning about others' heritage, is based on tired stereotypes or personal stigmas, and if so try to broaden your mind. Enjoy and celebrate the differences between the cultures that this course highlights.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It doesn't hurt to do background research. Take notes diligently as well. Participate in group projects.
