    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was an online class. The class would have been more successful on campus. Philosophy requires open discussion.

    Course highlights:

I learned the fundamentals of establishing an argument.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

print all lecture notes and read all the handouts.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Rice was very helpful if we had any questions or problems and he would always respond very quickly. His teaching method was very clear and he made learning interesting.

    Course highlights:

What I remember most was the story of Socrates, I have always heard of Socrates but I didn't realize the role he had in Philosophy and how he contributed to different methods that are still used today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The main advice I have is be sure to read all of the material that he posts to blackboard and watch all of the videos. Some of the material he covers is not specifically in the book so everything he posts including chapter notes help greatly.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because although it is a little challenging, it gives you a better understanding of your, your surrounds, and ultimately how you perceive your surroundings.

    Course highlights:

As I mentioned before, I learned a lot about why I think the way I do personally. This was a highlight for me because if you understand how and why you think the way you do, you understand yourself.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY! Terms and definitions are your best friends.
